Release 2026.10-R5

Updated October 13, 20262 min read

Released October 13, 2026.

The new Shipment page

The Dashboard now opens shipments on the new Shipment page. Everyone who hasn't chosen yet sees the new page by default, with a banner at the top:

  • Keep the new page makes it your default and closes the banner.
  • Switch to legacy page takes you back to the previous page. The legacy page shows a banner you can use to return to the new page later.

Your choice applies to you in every tenant you can access.

The legacy Shipment page is available until the end of November 2026. After that, every shipment opens on the new page.

MCP: sign-in follows the MCP authorization spec

The Carriyo MCP server now follows the MCP authorization specification. Every request needs a token, including the first initialize request. A request without one gets 401 Unauthorized with a WWW-Authenticate header, which tells the client where to sign in.

Any MCP client that follows the specification now opens the Carriyo sign-in by itself when you add the server, so you don't have to configure authentication by hand. Before, the server answered the first request without a token, so some clients, such as claude.ai, never started the sign-in and the Carriyo tools didn't work. See Limits and security.

Security: resent invitations keep the user's merchants

When you resend an invitation under Settings > Users to a user limited to some merchants, the invitation now keeps those merchants. Before, the resent invitation gave the user access to all merchants.

Fixes

  • Alert deadline labels: delivery alerts now name the date that was missed, Promise Delivery Date or Scheduled Delivery Date. Before, an alert could show the wrong label for the date.
  • Held orders filter: the Held filter on the Orders list, and hold_metric: held in the MCP list_orders tool, now include orders whose rule hold was followed by a later hold. Before, these orders were missing from the results.
  • Deleting an API client: deleting a client application under Settings > Integration > API Access now works. Before, the request didn't name the client and failed.
  • Dangerous goods left blank: when you create or edit a shipment in the Dashboard and leave Dangerous goods blank, Carriyo now fills it from the product catalog. Before, the Dashboard saved a blank value as No.
  • Shipment activity: customer feedback and notification entries no longer show "by Carriyo".
  • Tenant search: in the tenant switcher, when your search exactly matches a tenant's name or ID, that tenant is now listed first.
  • Inventory feed exports: exports now include inventory only from locations that are active and marked as inventory locations. Before, they also included inventory from inactive locations and from locations that aren't inventory locations.
  • Integration Monitor: the Connectors tab now lists only requests made by your connectors. Before, it also included some requests from the Dashboard and from Carriyo's own services.
