Release 2026.04-R2

Updated September 28, 20266 min read

Released April 21, 2026.

FedEx IPD consolidated shipping

FedEx carrier accounts now support consolidated shipping through FedEx International Priority Distribution (IPD). Many shipments travel under one consolidation and clear customs together.

To turn it on, open the FedEx carrier account under Settings > Carrier Accounts. Switch on Enable Consolidated Shipping and enter the Clearance Facility Location ID. Child shipments of a consolidated shipment are then booked with the same carrier account as the parent.

FedEx confirms a consolidation after the booking request. While Carriyo waits for that confirmation, the parent shipment stays in pending with the reason code booking_confirmation_pending. Carriyo retries the confirmation automatically.

Via the API: Call POST /shipments/{shipmentId}/manual-carrier-confirmation to trigger the carrier confirmation yourself. It works for shipments that are pending with booking_confirmation_pending, or in error. While confirmation is pending, confirm and reprocess requests on the parent return an error.

UPS consolidated shipping (World Ease)

UPS carrier accounts now support consolidated shipping through the UPS World Ease service, as DHL Express and FedEx already do.

Under Settings > Carrier Accounts, open the UPS carrier account and switch on Enable Consolidated Shipping (UPS World Ease Service). A UPS World Ease Settings section appears. Fill in the destination country and postal code, the master shipment charge type, and the port of entry details.

The UPS Sold To details also gain an optional Account Number field.

Happy Returns carrier

A new carrier integration with Happy Returns, for box-free and mail-in returns in the US. Happy Returns handles return (reverse) shipments.

When you book a return, Carriyo stores the Happy Returns QR code on the shipment as a document. Status updates arrive through Happy Returns webhooks, which Carriyo registers automatically. Add your UPS account details to the carrier account to track the return through UPS.

Set it up under Settings > Carrier Accounts.

Magento connector: order sync

The Magento connector now covers the order flow as well as shipments. Magento orders sync to Carriyo, where you can fulfill and ship them.

A new Order Status Updates setting, under Trigger Settings in the connector, controls which order statuses Carriyo sends back to Magento. The options are Open, Fulfilled, Closed and Cancelled. By default, Open, Closed and Cancelled are sent.

Find it under Settings > Connectors > Magento.

Customer promise date on shipment create and update

You can now pass the customer promise date when you create or update a shipment, in the new input_promised_delivery_date field.

Carriyo sets the shipment's promised_delivery_date in this order:

  1. The scheduled delivery date, when your tenant uses the Scheduled Delivery Date as the customer promise date and the shipment has one.
  2. The input_promised_delivery_date you passed.
  3. Your service level rules.

The shipment response returns input_promised_delivery_date. Updating the delivery promise on an existing shipment also updates this field.

Delivery reschedules from Team Express

Team Express can now send delivery reschedules to Carriyo. Carriyo reads them from Team Express webhooks and from tracking responses.

When a reschedule arrives, Carriyo:

  • Updates the shipment's scheduled delivery date.
  • Increases the delivery reschedule count.
  • Updates the customer promise date, if your tenant uses the Scheduled Delivery Date as the customer promise date.
  • Sends the scheduled delivery webhook.

The date of the latest reschedule is returned in post_shipping_info.last_schedule_delivery_update_date. Reschedules for shipments that are closed or not yet booked are ignored.

Shipment status indicator

The red, amber and green indicator on shipments now covers more cases.

  • Delivered shipments keep their indicator. Green means delivered on time and red means delivered late.
  • Draft and error shipments also show the indicator.
  • Amber also appears when a shipment misses its processing or shipping deadline, as well as when the estimated delivery date is later than the promised date.

The tooltip explains the reason, for example the missed estimated ship date. Cancelled and returned shipments still show no indicator.

Address corrected by carrier reason code

A new reason code, address_corrected_by_carrier, marks carrier events where the carrier corrected the delivery address. The shipment status does not change.

Carrier events from Aramex, DHL Express, FedEx, UPS and Naqel now map to this code, or to incorrect_address_details and incorrect_contact_details, where they apply.

Filter the shipment list by Address Corrected By Carrier, or pick it as a reason code trigger under Settings > Webhooks.

Order closed webhook

Order webhooks have a new trigger, Order Closed (ORDER_CLOSED). It fires when an order closes because all its shipments are delivered.

Order webhooks no longer fire on each shipment delivery that closes a line item. Subscribe to Order Closed under Settings > Webhooks to know when the whole order is complete.

Remember me at sign-in

The sign-in page has a Remember me checkbox.

  • Remember me checked: you stay signed in for up to 7 days.
  • Remember me unchecked: your session ends after 8 hours.

Access tokens are now short-lived and renew in the background, so you don't need to sign in again while your session lasts. If you sign in with email and password, changing your password signs you out of every session.

MCP token refresh

The Carriyo MCP server now supports the OAuth refresh_token grant. MCP clients can renew their access token without sending you back through sign-in. New client registrations get authorization_code and refresh_token by default.

Service level editor

The service level editor under Settings > Service Level Sets uses clearer labels. Deadlines are now named Processing Deadline, Collection Deadline, Delivery Deadline and Promised Delivery Deadline. The schedule card is now Rule Activation Schedule, and cutoff times are set with Set Cutoff Times.

Fixed in this release:

  • Time-based deadlines longer than 24 hours now save correctly.
  • Switching a rule between active and inactive now updates the list without a page refresh.

Carrier Performance report

Follow-up changes to the Carrier Performance report:

  • Average Delivery Time, Average Transit Time and Average Out for Delivery Time now count shipments delivered in the selected period.
  • Share and Delivery Rate still count shipments booked in the selected period.
  • Durations show as days, hours and minutes, for example "2 days, 5 hrs, 30 min".

The report is under Reports > Carrier Performance.

PrintNode moves out of Connectors

PrintNode is no longer listed under Settings > Connectors. Set up PrintNode under Settings > Print Services.

Fixes

  • Custom attribute columns no longer disappear from the shipment list after you switch tenants.
  • Filters from the previous tenant no longer carry over when you switch tenants.
  • The Branded Tracking App shows the carrier name when the carrier logo can't load.
  • Scheduled tracking and manual status refresh no longer apply a carrier status that is older than the shipment's latest status.
  • FedEx ZPL labels now print in the correct orientation.
  • DHL Express item and parcel weights are rounded to 3 decimal places.
  • DX shipment descriptions are shortened to 30 characters, and Intersoft descriptions to 70 characters.
  • Intersoft multi-parcel shipments now send item details per parcel.
  • Sharaf bookings with a delivery window now use the window's end date as the delivery date.
