Release 2026.08-R3
Released August 10, 2026.
Storefront delivery options
Changes to cart delivery options (POST /storefront/delivery-options) and product delivery options (POST /storefront/product-delivery-options):
allocation_check: a new request flag that controls whether your order allocation rules apply on top of the stock check. It defaults to the value ofinventory_check. Set it tofalsewithinventory_check: trueto get a stock answer without routing rules. Sendingallocation_check: truewithoutinventory_check: truereturns a400error.sales_channel: a new optional request field. Allocation rules that match on sales channel now see it at checkout, as they do on the order. It doesn't filter delivery options.
Changes to cart delivery options only:
- When you send
fulfillment_locations, the stock check now reads stock only at those locations. An option in the response means those locations can serve the cart. - Carriyo now matches line items that carry only a
product_reforskuto your product catalog for the stock check. It triesproduct_reffirst, thensku, as order creation does. Before, only lines with aproduct_idwere checked.
Order allocation without inventory management
When Enable Inventory Management is off under Settings > Account > Order Management, order allocation no longer reads stock. It chooses among the locations that can fulfill the order and cover the customer's address, using your allocation rules and priorities. When no location qualifies, the allocation summary reads "No eligible fulfillment locations found."
Inventory management now counts as on only when the setting is turned on. With it off or never set, Carriyo doesn't reduce or restock inventory on fulfillment, cancellation, returns or shipment status updates.
Fixes
- Duplicate SKUs in a cart: two cart lines with the same SKU and no line ID no longer overwrite each other's quantity in the stock check.
