Released August 19, 2026.

Manage my order on the tracking page

The new tracking page, introduced in 2026.07-R1, has a new Manage my order section. Your customers can correct their delivery details before the order ships, or raise a claim after it arrives.

You choose what customers can change:

  • Delivery address
  • Contact number
  • Preferred delivery time, a day and time window
  • Delivery notes for the courier, such as a gate code or where to leave the parcel

The Editing window controls how long changes stay open. Until dispatch locks them once the parcel is out for delivery. Anytime keeps them open until the order is delivered.

With Raise a claim on, customers can report a delivered order that arrived damaged, is missing items, has the wrong items, or never arrived.

Customers confirm each change request or claim through a link Carriyo sends by email and SMS. Each order has one open request or claim at a time. As with the rest of the new page, Carriyo's team sets up the section for you.

Delivery dates and status text on the tracking page

The tracker section of the new tracking page has new Expected delivery date settings:

  • Date priority sets which date the page shows first: Scheduled window, Carrier estimate, Customer promise, Estimated delivery date or Carriyo AI estimate. The page uses the first one the shipment has. Dates already in the past are skipped.
  • Delivery date renderer shows the date as a full range (Interval), its start (From date) or its end (To date).

Status text now reads correctly for return shipments, where the customer sends and the merchant receives. A shipment the carrier rejected now reads "Arranging your courier" instead of "Order cancelled", because it can still be booked with another carrier.

Product recommendations now show even before Algolia Recommend has trained a model for your index. Carriyo falls back to searching your index directly.

Contact email on carrier accounts

Carrier accounts have a new Contact Email field under Settings > Carrier Accounts, in Carrier Account Attributes. Add the address you use to reach the carrier about shipments booked on that account. The Contact Carrier dialog lists it first.

Via the API: carrier accounts take carrier_contact_email.

Location codes keep their casing

Location codes are no longer converted to uppercase. The code keeps the casing you type in the Dashboard or supply in a location import. Spaces still become hyphens, so abc DEF is saved as abc-DEF. When an import row has no code, the generated code keeps the casing of the location name.

Codes are case-sensitive: ABC-2 and abc-2 are different locations. Existing codes are unchanged.

Location import now matches rows to existing locations by code only. A row whose name belongs to a different existing location is rejected.

Carrier updates

  • Noon: some pickup locations have no Noon outlet code mapped on the carrier account. For these, Carriyo now registers the pickup address with Noon as a pickup point and books against the code Noon returns. The shipment's system logs show the step as Register Pickup Point (Carrier).
  • UPS: pickup requests now include your UPS shipper account number and, for countries that need it, the state or province. The pickup address now carries the location's company name, or the merchant name when it has none.
  • Egypt: Cairo is now a city of its own in the Cairo Governorate, and it maps to Aramex's Cairo.

Fixes

  • Notification triggers: a trigger set to any reason code now fires for shipments that carry a reason code. Before, those notifications were not sent. For example, a revised promise email never went out for a delayed shipment.
  • Revised promise email: the stock Revise Customer Promise email showed a blank date. It now shows the new promised delivery date in the delivery address's time zone. Carriyo updated existing copies of the template.
  • Create shipment: clicking Save right after filling the last field no longer does nothing. Save is disabled while the form is being checked, and the shipment is created once the form is valid.
