Release 2026.05-R2

Updated September 28, 20264 min read

Released May 26, 2026.

Carrier estimated delivery date

Carriyo now records the delivery date the carrier itself estimates for a shipment. Carriyo reads it from tracking updates for DHL Express, UPS and USPS. Carriyo keeps the latest estimate and ignores repeats of the same date.

  • Via the API: the shipment carries the date in post_shipping_info.carrier_estimated_delivery_date.
  • Carrier Delivery Delay alert: a new alert category fires when the carrier's estimate is later than the customer promise date. Configure it under Settings > Account > Alerts. Open alerts appear on the Alerts page as Carrier Delivery Delay Alert.
  • Notification trigger: email, SMS and WhatsApp notifications can now be sent on Carrier Estimated Delivery Date Received. Set it up under Settings > Notifications.

The existing Late Shipment alert category is renamed Promised Date Breached. Its behavior is unchanged.

Imperial units for package templates

Package templates now store a unit system. Choose Unit System when you create or edit a template under Settings > Administration > Package Templates. Switching the unit system converts the dimensions and weights you have entered. Carriyo has set existing templates to centimeters and kilograms.

When a shipment uses a template, its parcel dimensions and weight now take the template's units. The maximum weight check converts units before comparing. When you create a shipment in the Dashboard, the Packing Template list shows only templates that match the shipment's unit system. Before this release, imperial shipments could not use templates.

The order form and the shipment form opened from an order now have a Unit System selector too.

Delivery options list

The list under Settings > Shipping Automation > Delivery Options has a new drop-off country column. It shows the country, Multiple, Any, or Area Specific when the option targets cities or areas. A country filter sits next to the search box.

Also in this release:

  • Tiered shipping fees now show the lowest tier amount in the "from" price, not the first tier's.
  • New delivery options start with a one-day delivery estimate, ending at 23:59.
  • The display image upload accepts JPG and JPEG as well as SVG and PNG.

CX app editors

Changes to the editors for the Branded Tracking App, Returns Portal, Pinpoint Location and Customer Feedback Loop under Settings > Customer Experience:

  • Logo and image uploads accept up to 5 MB, and JPG and JPEG files as well as SVG and PNG. Large images are compressed before upload.
  • The domain field defaults to your Carriyo domain. You only need to pick a domain when you use a custom domain.
  • Color fields accept hex codes without the # and add it for you.
  • The Twitter social link is now labeled X, and tracking pages show the X logo.

Fulfillment App

  • Re-create Pack on a cancelled pack starts a new pack for the items that were picked.
  • The pack list shows each pack's delivery method and whether it is international.
  • Cancelled customer collections show their cancellation date in the list.
  • New locations get a 3-second confirmation countdown for pack and ship, as they already did for pick.

Sign-in: move to the new identity service completed

All Carriyo user accounts now sign in through Carriyo's new identity service, and the previous provider (Auth0) is retired.

  • Passwords must be at least 12 characters.
  • A user whose account was not yet moved must reset their password on the sign-in page before they can accept an invitation, create a new account, or be invited to another account. These screens now say so.

Carrier updates

  • Aymakan: new Cold shipments service type in the carrier account settings.
  • Happy Returns: Carriyo now processes every return status update Happy Returns sends, not only drop-off.
  • Egypt Express: status updates sent with other date formats are no longer rejected.

Fixes

  • Shipment import: files without a shipment reference no longer fail with "shipment reference is mandatory". The order reference fills in the shipment reference again, as it did before.
  • Pasting into multi-select fields: pasted text now only adds values that match an existing option. Before, pasting carrier names into a network profile's Carrier Accounts field could assign invalid values.
  • Shopify orders: orders whose fulfillment orders have no destination address no longer fail to sync.
  • Order allocation: when no location has stock for a fulfillment order, the fulfillment order stays on the order. Carriyo flags the order as failed auto-allocation. Before, it could be dropped from the order.
