Release 2026.09-R2
Released September 3, 2026.
Late shipment flags
Carriyo now judges whether a shipment is late against its real delivery deadline. It uses the end of the delivery window (delivery.scheduled_to) first, then the promised delivery date (promised_delivery_date), then the scheduled delivery date (delivery.scheduled_date).
Before, the scheduled delivery date came first. It carries no time of day, so a shipment delivered on its scheduled day was flagged late. That happened even when it arrived inside its window.
When the scheduled delivery date is the only date a shipment has, Carriyo now counts it as a whole day. Delivery any time on that day is on time.
The change applies to the Late Shipment and At Risk badges on shipments, the Schedule Status filter in the Shipments list, and Promised Date Breached alerts.
Custom attributes in the shipment list and export
Shipment custom attributes of every type now show their values as columns in the Shipments list and in the shipment export. Before, only list-type attributes appeared, so free-text, number and yes/no attributes were missing. Attributes with several values are joined with commas.
Shipment import and connector field mappings now also recognize shipment custom attributes created with scopes under Settings > Administration > Attributes. Free-text attribute columns in a shipment import are read as text, not as lists.
Out for collection on the tracking page
When the carrier reports that the courier is on its way to the pickup address, the tracking page now shows an Out for Collection step before Shipped. It is translated into Arabic, French, Italian, German and Dutch. When the carrier sends no location for the step, the tracking page shows the pickup city.
Fixes
- SLA filters: in the Shipments list, the on time, completed late, overdue and outstanding SLA filters no longer match shipments that have no SLA due date for that milestone.
- Sorting the shipment list: sorting by pickup or dropoff company name or contact name ignores case, so "acme trading" sorts next to "Acme Trading" instead of after every capitalized name. The pickup and dropoff contact email columns can now be sorted. Milestone date columns, such as Delivered Date and Awaiting Customer Collection Date, can no longer be sorted: sorting them returned an error.
- Shipment export sources: the Creation Source and Update Source columns show readable names such as System and Carrier Tracking, instead of raw values such as
carriyoandhandler. The Shipments list shows the same names.
