Default templates for SMS and email notifications

Default templates are now provided for every status trigger, for forward shipments, reverse shipments, and return requests. Use them as-is or customize them.

In the Dashboard, open the Notifications menu, add the status triggers you want, then edit the templates in the Email Templates section.

Get shipping rates from carrier APIs

Get Rates and Calculate Shipment Cost can now call carrier APIs directly, starting with Aramex.

• On the shipment details screen, the Shipment Cost section can fetch costs for a newly created or draft shipment that already has a carrier assigned. Carriyo passes weight, delivery type, and other shipment attributes to the carrier API.
• On draft shipments without an assigned carrier, Get Rates iterates through your available carrier accounts and retrieves a quote from each. Where the carrier API is enabled, Carriyo fetches the rate from the API.
