Returns module enhancements
A batch of improvements to the Returns module:
- Redesigned interface for the return request list and detail screens.
- Export return requests to Excel from the list view: select shipments (or all) and click the export icon.
- New "On Hold" status: for internal use, to distinguish requests that are waiting on customer feedback from those you haven't started reviewing (Pending Review). Update the status from the list screen or the request screen.
- Preferred collection date: record a preferred date for a return request and its related reverse shipments. Surfaced as a new column on the list screen.
- Manual reverse shipment creation: even if Create Reverse Shipment is disabled in the return reason's settings, you can now create a reverse shipment manually using the new Ship option on the return request screen. Useful when you decide case-by-case whether to send a return, ship a replacement, or let the customer keep the item.
- Auto-close: return requests with no activity after a configurable number of days can be closed automatically. Disabled by default; enable from Return Settings.
- Assign a user: pick an owner for a return request in the Assigned to field on the request screen.
Arabic-to-English address translation: Aramex and Quiqup
The Arabic-to-English address translation feature, previously available only for DHL, now also works for Aramex and Quiqup. Enable the Translate address to English toggle in the carrier account settings. Contact names and addresses are translated from Arabic to English on outgoing bookings.
