Released July 22, 2026.

Fulfillment location on fulfillment orders

Each fulfillment order now carries a fulfillment_location object with the location's partner_location_id, partner_location_code and partner_location_name. Before, a fulfillment order only held the location ID in location_id.

  • Via the API: order responses and order webhooks include fulfillment_location on every fulfillment order. When you set a location, Carriyo fills in all three fields from your location settings.
  • Setting a location: order create and update requests, and the split and update-location actions under /orders/{order_reference}/fulfillment-orders/{fulfillment_order_id}/, accept fulfillment_location. Send either partner_location_id or partner_location_code. Carriyo ignores partner_location_name on input. An unknown ID or code is reported as partner_location_invalid on the fulfillment_location field.
  • location_id still works. Requests can keep sending it, and responses still return it alongside the new object.
  • Existing orders: Carriyo copied each fulfillment order's location_id into fulfillment_location.partner_location_id. These orders carry the ID only until their location is set again.

In the Dashboard: order exports drop the Fulfillment Order - Location and Fulfillment Order - Location Name columns. Three columns replace them: Fulfillment Order - Partner Location ID, Partner Location Code and Partner Location Name. Order imports accept the new column headers, and files that still use Fulfillment Order - Location keep working. Imports can now also update orders that are partially allocated.

Carrier short names on labels and documents

Shipping labels and shipment documents now print a carrier's short name instead of its carrier code. This applies to carriers whose code is too long or out of date. For example, shipments with EMPOST now show EMX, the carrier's current name.

Short names in this release: EMX, AMAZON SHP, CAREEM EXP, DHL ECOM US, DHL GLOBAL, EGYPT EXP, EMIRATES EXP, FRONTLINE, PORTER EXP, POSTAGE EXP and ULTIMO PHARM. All other carriers still print their carrier code. The carrier code on the shipment doesn't change.

Out for Collection status

The Out for Collection status for reverse shipments is now available in more places:

  • Webhooks: select Out for Collection as a shipment webhook trigger under Settings > Webhooks.
  • Notifications: forward shipment notifications can now also be sent on Out for Collection. Reverse shipments already had it.
  • Manual status changes: in the Dashboard, you can move a shipment from Booked or Ready to Ship to Out for Collection. From Out for Collection, you can move it to Cancelled, Cancelled by Carrier, Failed Collection Attempt or Shipped.

Carrier updates

  • Noon: Carriyo applies Noon tracking updates again when it checks Noon for status changes. This includes updates with no event date or with microsecond timestamps. Noon's Cancelled status now maps to Cancelled by Carrier.

Fixes

  • Booking with incomplete parcel dimensions: shipments no longer fail to book when a parcel has a dimension unit but no width, depth or height. This happened on carrier accounts with no default parcel dimension.
  • Tracking page scheduled date: for a scheduled delivery or collection, the Branded Tracking App now shows the end of the scheduled window as the milestone date. This applies when the page doesn't show the time slot. When the time slot is shown, the date is the start of the window.
