Revise the customer promise date
Use this page to revise the customer promise date on one or more Shipments.
Use the Revise Promise Date option from the Shipment's Actions menu. You can revise the promise date for a single Shipment or in bulk. Revising a promise date affects the Service Level Performance report.
Revising the customer promise date
1. Navigate to Shipping > Shipments on the Carriyo Dashboard. Select the forward or reverse shipment you want to update. You can revise the promise date from the Shipments list page or from inside the Shipment Detail page. To update the promise date via the API, see the Update delivery promise operation.
Customer promise dates appear in the Customer promise date column. A promise date is only set when a matching service level rule exists. To set up customer promise service level rules, see Set up service level rules.
The customer promise Date also appears on the Shipment Detail page.
2. Click Revise Promise Date. Select the date and time using the calendar, click Ok, then click Apply.
3. After the update, both the original and the revised promise date appear on the Shipment Detail page.
4. To revise promise dates in bulk, select the required shipments, check the box in the table header to select all, click more options, and choose Set Promise Date.
Revising promise dates affects the Service Level Performance report. Set the toggle to SLA Based on Revised customer promise to display the report against revised dates. Otherwise, the report uses the original promise date. See SLA performance report.
