Schedule collection and delivery
Use this page to set a collection and delivery schedule on a Shipment at the time of booking.
Scheduling affects your customer promise and Collection and Delivery service levels, if you have them configured. Service levels help you identify shipments that are at risk or running late. Carriyo uses service levels in reports such as the service level and Carrier Performance reports. See Set up service level rules for configuration.
You can schedule at the time of booking. Carriyo displays a warning if you enter past dates, but the booking continues.
The Collection/Pickup schedule uses the timezone of the pickup country. The Delivery/Dropoff schedule uses the timezone of the dropoff country.
Schedule collection and delivery of a shipment
1. Navigate to Shipping > Shipments on the Carriyo Dashboard. On the Create forward/reverse shipment page, click + add collection & delivery schedule. A Collection & Delivery Schedule section appears.
In this example, the pickup country is the United Arab Emirates and the dropoff country is Egypt. The Collection & Delivery section reflects those timezones.
You choose the date and time. Carrier schedule and availability settings, if configured, may constrain the available options.
Rescheduling a shipment
Carriyo supports rescheduling for any reason, for individual shipments or in bulk. Rescheduling can affect service levels. To keep service level reporting accurate, update the promise date after rescheduling. See Reset the customer promise date.
Note: Updating the scheduled delivery date does not update carrier systems.
The Reschedule Collection and Reschedule Delivery options are available on the Shipments list page and inside an individual Shipment.

- For a group of shipments, select the desired shipments and click the three-dot icon to display the options.
Set a timeslot on a single day or choose a date range. Click Apply to save.
