Manage shipment labels and label settings
Use this page to configure which shipping documents Carriyo generates at booking and how they are grouped for printing.
Shipping documents include AWBs/labels, commercial invoices, packing lists, and more. Each document type has an associated template. Documents are generated when a Shipment is booked.
You configure which documents to generate in Settings > Administration > Shipping Documents. Documents can be grouped for batch printing. Default label settings are configured on the carrier account setup page, not here.
Configuring label settings
1. Navigate to Settings > Account > System Settings on the Carriyo Dashboard. Enable the Document URL Expiration toggle to make document links (AWB, Commercial Invoice, etc.) expire after a set period. This reduces exposure if document links are shared beyond their intended recipients. The maximum expiration time is 7 days.
Note: This setting cannot be disabled once enabled.
2. Navigate to Settings > Administration > Shipping Documents. Configure documents generated automatically at booking under Auto Generate Shipping Documents. Configure document groups for quick printing on the Shipments list page under Document Groups.
Auto generate shipping documents
These documents are generated automatically when a Shipment is booked.
Carriyo-controlled documents cannot be deactivated. Only active documents are generated. The Shipment column specifies the shipment type the document applies to. The Document column shows the document type, label, commercial invoice, and so on. Each document type has an associated template. The Quick print toggle controls whether the document appears on the Shipments list page. If disabled, the document is only available in the Shipment Detail page.
To add a new entry, click + add record, provide the required details, and click Add Document.
Each record supports edit and delete actions. View Logs shows all changes made to the document and the source of each change.
Document groups
Document grouping lets you print multiple documents for one or more Shipments with a single click. Groups with the Quick Print toggle enabled appear on the Shipments list page.
Each group supports edit and delete actions. View Logs shows all changes made to the group and the source of each change.
To add a new group, click + add record, select the documents to include, and click Add Group. Make sure each document in the group is active in the Auto Generate Shipping Documents section.
Both the individual document's Quick Print toggle and the document group's toggle must be enabled for the group to appear on the Shipments list page.
3. Click Save once all changes are made.
