Import and export shipments
Use this page to bulk-import or export Shipments in the Carriyo Dashboard.
You can import up to 250 Shipments at a time. You can export up to 50,000 Shipments at a time.
Importing shipments
1. Navigate to Shipping > Shipments in the Carriyo Dashboard. Click the import icon.
2. Download the Carriyo Excel template and fill in the required shipment details. Click + drag or select your file to upload the completed file, then click Upload. The imported shipments appear alongside your existing shipments.
3. Choose to create new shipments or to create and update existing ones. Only shipments in draft status can be updated. Review the shipments and move them to ready for import, then click Upload. If any rows are invalid, export the file, correct the data, and re-upload.
4. After import, leave the shipments as drafts or book them immediately.
Exporting shipments
1. Navigate to Shipping > Shipments in the Carriyo Dashboard. Click the export icon in the top-right corner.
To export up to 100 shipments by selection, set Rows per page to 100 and check the box in the table header to select all.
To export up to 50,000 shipments, apply filters first using the filter icon, then click the export icon.
2. Clicking the export icon opens an export dialog. Item and parcel details are not column attributes, select them separately if you need them in the export.
Export options:
- Export All Fields: exports all shipment fields Carriyo offers.
- Export Only Visible Columns: exports only the columns currently displayed. Use the Columns option to change which columns appear.
- Custom Export: choose specific fields. The right column tracks fields selected for export. The left column shows all available fields.
Select your option and click Export. The file downloads to your system.
For reverse shipments
Set shipment type to Reverse and follow the same import and export steps.
