Confirm or book a shipment

Use this page to book a Shipment with the carrier, either from a draft or directly at creation.

You can book a shipment after saving it as a draft, or immediately when you create it. Shipment details are fully editable only while the shipment is in draft status. Once booked, only custom attributes remain editable. See Edit a shipment.

Confirm a shipment

1. Navigate to Shipping > Shipments on the Carriyo Dashboard. The Book & Track option is available on the Shipments list page and inside an individual shipment.

2. To edit details before booking, choose the edit option, make your changes, then click Save & Book.

Once booked, a tracking number is generated. You can track the shipment in multiple ways, see Track a shipment. Status updates and carrier request logs appear inside the shipment page.

Booking may produce errors or warnings. Errors fall into two categories: Carriyo errors and carrier errors. Carrier errors typically require you to contact the carrier, use the Contact Carrier option. To fix Carriyo errors, use Edit & Book.

To book shipments in bulk, select the desired shipments and click Confirm.
