Manage package templates

Use package templates to define reusable package types (box sizes, mailer sizes, pallets) so operators can pick a template at shipment creation instead of entering dimensions and weight each time.
Creating a package template
- Dashboard path: Settings > Administration > Package Templates (
/settings/package-templates). - Step 1: Click + add template.
- Step 2: Name the template (for example, "Small box", "Mailer S").
- Step 3: Enter dimensions (length, width, height) and tare weight.
- Step 4: Save.
Using templates
- At shipment creation, pick a template from the Package dropdown.
- Carriyo populates dimensions and weight; you can still override per shipment.
Managing existing templates
- Edit, duplicate, or delete templates.
- Activate or deactivate.
- Reorder to control how they appear in the dropdown.
