Configure SMS notifications

Use SMS notifications to send shipment status updates to customers by text message. Settings apply to all merchants by default, or to a specific merchant when you select one from the dropdown.

Setting up

  • Dashboard path: Settings > Notifications > SMS Notifications (/settings/notifications/sms/triggers).
  • Prerequisites: SMS provider credentials configured at the tenant level; the SMS notification feature enabled for the merchant.
  • Step 1: Configure the sender ID and channel settings.

Triggers

  • One trigger per (shipment status, destination country) pair.
  • Triggers fire when a shipment reaches the configured status.
  • Country-specific triggers take precedence over Any country triggers.

Templates

  • Templates use Liquid for dynamic content.
  • Set per language; the language is picked from the shipment.
  • Test mode sends only to whitelisted numbers.
