Use order allocation rules to control how Carriyo assigns order line items to fulfillment locations. Rules are evaluated in priority order at order confirmation. Each rule has conditions (merchant, country, payment type, custom attributes) and a target, a location or a strategy (closest, cheapest, highest stock).
Creating a rule
- Dashboard path: Settings > Shipping Automation > Order Allocation Rules (
/settings/order-allocation-rules). - Prerequisites: at least one merchant; at least one location with stock; the Orders subscription enabled.
- Step 1: Click + add rule.
- Step 2: Name the rule and set its priority.
- Step 3: Add conditions (merchant, pickup country, line-item attributes).
- Step 4: Choose the allocation strategy or target location.
- Step 5: Save and activate.
Managing rules
- Drag rules to reorder by priority.
- Activate or deactivate individual rules.
- Edit, duplicate, or delete from the rule list.
