Allocate an order

Stub page, the structure below outlines what the finished page will cover.

Use this page to assign order line items to one or more fulfillment locations. Allocation can run automatically using order allocation rules, or manually via the Dashboard for orders that need an override.

Manual allocation

• Dashboard path: Orders > [order ID] > Allocate.
• Step 1: Open the order detail page.
• Step 2: Click Allocate to enter allocation mode.
• Step 3: Assign each line item (or part of it) to a location. Carriyo can split a line across multiple locations.
• Step 4: Confirm. Allocated line items move into the fulfillment workflow.

Auto-allocation

• See Create an order allocation rule for setting up rule-driven allocation.
• Auto-allocation runs at order confirmation when rules exist for the order's merchant and pickup country.
