Set up the customer returns portal
Use this page to configure the branding, domain, and content of the Returns Portal, the customer-facing page where customers request returns.
Configure the Returns Portal per merchant and personalize it with your brand's logo and content. Customers access it from your brand's website or by clicking the link in email communications. Carriyo creates a reverse shipment for each approved return request.
You can reject, approve, cancel, or complete a return request from the Returns module. You can also automate approval based on your return policy settings.
Setting up
1. Navigate to CX Apps > Returns Portal on the Carriyo Dashboard.
You can use the settings already defined in your CX theme (colors, text, buttons, images, etc.) by switching on 'Use CX Theme Settings'.
If you have not defined a CX theme, or if you do not enable this option, fill in all the settings and upload images manually. For more details about these settings, refer to this article.
2. In the Images and Logo category, you can define the size of the logo.
Adjust the cursor and preview the size on the screen until you are satisfied.
3. In the custom domain section, set a URL that matches your brand's website domain. This keeps customers on a familiar domain throughout the return flow.
You can use the enable iframe embedding option to embed the Returns Portal into a URL of your choice. See Embed the returns portal as iframe for details.
4. In the Content section, you can set the text that appears on the portal and translate it into the languages of your choice. Your brand color is used for all links in the portal.
To manage translations, click the icon on the right side of each text field:
In the pop-up that opens, click the 'Add record' icon to add translations in different languages.
