Installing the Carriyo Shopify App

Updated May 26, 20262 min read

The Carriyo Shopify App is the modern alternative to the legacy Shopify connector. It sets up locations and webhooks automatically during installation — no manual configuration required.

After installation, you can perform most Shopify tasks directly inside Carriyo, including fulfilling orders. You can also split orders and fulfill them from Carriyo for a faster workflow. Fulfilling from the Shopify dashboard continues to work as expected.

Install the app

1. In your Shopify store, navigate to Settings. Click Apps and Sales channels and then the Shopify App Store button.

2. Search for Carriyo, open the app with the Carriyo logo, and click Install.

3. Shopify asks you to grant permissions. Click Install.

4. After installation, Shopify redirects you to the Carriyo login page. Click Sign In if you already have a Carriyo account. This ensures the app is installed in your existing account. Otherwise, sign up for a new account.

5. Select the merchant the app should connect to and click Next. If this is a new account, configure the merchant at this step.

6. On the next screen, you can ignore both options or enable the first one (this can be changed later). Click Next.

7. The installation is complete.

Working with orders

Open orders from the last 30 days appear on the Orders page in Carriyo.

The order detail page shows all order information from Shopify.

You can change the location before fulfilling the order.

Click Fulfill to create the shipment. You can also split the order before fulfilling if items should be processed separately.

Leave the carrier account field empty if you want Carriyo's automation rules to assign the carrier.

Enable the toggle if you want the shipment booked directly rather than created as a draft. When the parcels and items are defined, click Create Shipment.

Carriyo takes you to the shipment detail page once the shipment is created.

All shipments fulfilled in Shopify appear in the Shipping → Shipments page in Carriyo.
