Import and export locations
Import Locations in bulk using a CSV file, or export existing locations to review or back up your data.
Most account types require at least one Location for forward and reverse shipments, freeform addresses are not allowed. For more background on how locations work, see Locations.
Importing locations
1. Navigate to Settings > Administration > Locations on the Carriyo Dashboard. The import and export options are in the top-right corner. The import icon is shown here: 
2. Click the import option to open the dialog box. You can import up to 250 locations at a time. Click Download template here to get the CSV template. Fill in the spreadsheet, then upload it using the + drag or select your file option and click Upload.
3. Review all records in the file. Make sure all location codes and names are unique.
Once the records are reviewed, click Import to add all locations to Carriyo. Use the Export button on this screen to download selected records if needed.
Exporting locations
1. Navigate to Settings > Administration > Locations on the Carriyo Dashboard. Click the export icon highlighted in red.
Carriyo exports up to 25,000 locations at a time as a CSV file.
A notification appears in the bottom-right corner once the export starts. Click the X icon to cancel the export.
