A shipment can be cancelled in Carriyo until the point it is shipped (i.e. collected by the carrier). Once the shipment is shipped, the shipment has to be either delivered or returned back to origin.
When a merchant cancels the shipment in Carriyo, we can notify the carrier of such cancellation via an API call.
