11 tools for the operational lifecycle of fulfillment orders — the groups of line items that sit under a top-level order and represent items to be shipped from one location.

Routing / configuration

Tool	What it does
change_fulfillment_order_location	Move a fulfillment order to a different location.
change_fulfillment_order_delivery_method	Change the delivery method (e.g. delivery vs collection).
schedule_fulfillment_order	Set or revise the schedule for a fulfillment order.

Split / merge

Tool	What it does
split_fulfillment_order	Split selected line-item quantities into a new fulfillment order.
merge_fulfillment_orders	Merge pending line-item quantities from one fulfillment order into another.

Holds

Tool	What it does
hold_fulfillment_order	Put one fulfillment order on hold for review.
release_fulfillment_order_hold	Release the hold on one fulfillment order.

To hold or release the whole order, use hold_order and release_order_hold.

Lifecycle actions

Tool	What it does
fulfill_fulfillment_order	Fulfill every pending item, or selected item quantities.
ship_fulfillment_order	Ship fulfilled item quantities — triggers carrier booking.
unfulfill_fulfillment_order	Undo one or more fulfillments.
cancel_fulfillment_order_items	Cancel selected item quantities.
